Refund Policy
All items we sell are pre-owned or ex-display and most items we sell will have some imperfections, it is your responsibility to check the condition of the item before buying & that it will fit into your home. If it doesn’t fit we will offer you a credit note (your statutory rights are not effected).
Failed Delivery
If you are not at home when we attempt delivery you will be left a card by our driver - it is your responsibility to call and re-arrange. You will also be charged another delivery fee.
If we haven’t heard from you within 7 days we will assume you no longer want the item and are donating it back to us.
Storage of Items
If you’ve bought an item and are collecting it yourself we will hold it for you for 3 days. Please bring along your receipt when you come to pick up your item as proof of purchase - without this we will be unable to release the items. If we haven’t heard from you and the item hasn’t been picked up within 7 days we will assume you no longer want it and are donating it back to us.
Electrical Warranty
All our electrical appliances have been fully tested, serviced and cleaned by our qualified electricians & come with a 90 day warranty. The warranty starts from the initial date of purchase. Your receipt acts as your warranty so make sure to keep this safe, without your receipt your warranty will be void. Please see opposite for some guidelines on the appliances that we sell that could affect your warranty.
Electrical Appliances
All electrical appliances we sell are intended for domestic use only, if you use your appliance in a commercial capacity, it will void your warranty.
Please see below some important information on the electrical appliances that we sell - failure to follow these guidelines may void your warranty.
Gas Cookers
These must be fitted by a gas safe registered engineer. Find one in your area by visiting: www.GasSafeRegister.co.uk
Electric Cookers
These must be installed by a qualified electrician. Find one in your area by visiting: www.niceic.com
Washing Machines
These should be correctly connected to the water mains and waste outlet pipes to ensure the effective operation of the appliance.
Fridge Freezer
These need a chance to settle into their new home so please let it stand for 24 hours before switching it on.
Condenser Tumble Dryer
These need to be kept upright at all times, never place it on its side as any residual water may cause the appliance to fail.
What to do if your item stops working
If it’s within the 90 day warranty period call us on 01443 680090 and if we delivered the item we will arrange for an electrician to call out to you, alternatively you can return the item to us for inspection and repair. In the first instance items will be repaired, however toogoodtowaste reserve the right to replace the appliance for a like for like product.
