A helping hand

We were delighted that we were able to help a new community initiative - Ty Pentre Eglwys (house of Church Village).

Trivallis has gifted a property to volunteers within the community of Cae Fadre to run a community hub where they help people with their wellbeing, save money and provide new learning opportunities. Four volunteers run the hub daily offering coffee mornings, food pantry and free school uniform.

In order to make the hub look and feel more welcoming to the community, the local PCSO Garron Evans, along with Gavin the neighbourhood manager for Trivallis made contact with us to see if there were any donations available.

We thought it was such a great initiative and a couple of our team visited the property to donate a 2 seater settee, armchair, tv unit, desk, dresser & array of bric-a-brac.

Whilst we were there, Phyllis one of the ladies running the group and Lucy the Community Development Partner for Trivallis showed us around and told us about all the wonderful things they’re doing to help their community and how the hub has gone from strength to strength over the last 6 weeks.

We wish them all the very best with their new venture!

Phyllis, Jordan and Lucy
