Volunteer Recognition

We are very grateful for all the support & commitment we receive from our wonderful team of volunteers & we are going to start recognising some of our star volunteers and those that have been with us for a long time. We would like to introduce Nathan aka 'Sleepy' to those of you who may not have yet had the pleasure of meeting him.

Nathan joined toogoodtowaste 19 years ago in our
Ferndale branch and has been with us ever since. During his time with us Nathan has volunteered in the Warehouse, on the vans and as a porter in our showroom, he is now back doing what he loves best, volunteering in our warehouse.

Speaking of his time with us, Nathan said:

'I volunteer at toogoodtowaste to socialise with people and to get out of the house and I really enjoy working with the people I work with. I started in the Ferndale branch and that's when they started calling me sleepy because I would go into the warehouse, find a settee & have a nap, I don't do that no more but the name has just stuck. I can't imagine volunteering anywhere else, I just love coming here.'
