Title:                         Volunteer Support Worker

Location:                  Rhondda

Hours:                       16 hours per week (2 days a week)

Salary:                       £17, 891 (pro rata)

Length of contract:  Fixed term contract until 31 March 2018

Aim of the post

To help increase the levels of confidence and self esteem of volunteers with toogoodtowaste who are experiencing mental health issues. The post holder will work with the New Horizons Rhondda Service manager and toogoodtowaste’s volunteers to offer 1:1 support and to access bespoke training and co-ordinate opportunities for peer support.

The role

The post holder will co-ordinate a range of training and support opportunities for the volunteers at toogoodtowaste who have identified that they are experiencing mental health issues
